Meet the Great Orchestrator!!

God is truly AMAZING!  He BLOWS MY MIND in the amazing, magnificant, surprising ways He orchestrates things!!! Ways so grand that there's absolutely NO way anyone could mistake this for a work of man. Let me tell you just a few of the ways He has been working mightily around here.

First, we have confirmed that He is bringing not one, BUT 2 CHILDREN, to our family, and it seems likely we will meet them in July!!! :)  We are adopting a boy, age 4, and a girl, age 6, and they are precious!! "Joyfully terrified and extremely excited" is the way my husband described us, now that we are going from a family of 3 to a family of five, seemingly overnight. :)

And if that didn't blow us away enough...

God led another family here in town to adopt their half-brother & half-sister, before we even confirmed who we were adopting!!

But He wasn't done...

He led yet another family (and the same day we started looking for a family) to adopt at least one of their cousins (there are three)!!

Through this, He showed me that He loves it when we dream BIG about what He can do...

All of these children were at the same orphanage!!! When this journey first started, my friend and I dreamed of Him sending families for all of these children.  Well, this makes at least 7, possibly 9, children coming here (counting the two our friends are adopting).  That is nearly HALF of the children at this small orphanage coming here together!  Needless to say, my friend and I are like little children on Christmas morning. :)

And just when we thought He was done...

The director of the orphanage emails and says they will soon have power at the orphanage, and we can meet our children via FACE TIME next week!!!!

And then He reminded us that He never tires from His glorious work...

Shortly after praying about how we will come up with $9500 to send to Uganda this week, we received a generous donation of $500 yesterday from dear friends.  

All of this reminds me not to worry so much about the details, because He has shown us over and over (and very recently) that it is all in His hands.

Isn't GOD Amazing?!?!  

I absolutely LOVE to watch Him work out every detail of HIS incredible plans!!  And I am absolutely BLOWN AWAY by His great love for His children. And once again, I am humbled beyond words that He has chosen us to be a part of this.  Please join us in praising Him for all He has done!
